That's North Newark. Mc Carter Highway. We used to play on those train tracks growing up as kids in the projects. Those tracks and the freight trains ran right through our backyard in the projects, headed north in the direction you're walking. The projects were Arch Bishop Walsh Homes on Mc Carter Highway and Grafton Ave, until they were eventually demolished. That gnarly building you're referring to was the FAN FACTORY. Everybody broke it and stole fans, sets of dishes, and other appliances. As a young kid growing up, I went inside, right through those broken windows you're looking at, with some older teenagers, and the Newark Police caught us inside. We were trying to hide from them, but they had dogs that sniffed us out. I was too young to go to jail, so they called my mother to come pick me up. Boy, did I get an ass whipping that day. Omg, Base (BE 3) just keeps going and going. 40+ years and he's still going strong. Ain't too many left from the train days but when you see one it's definitely a gem.

Your start to see a decline in the 90s on graffiti in fundamentals.

I think graffiti actually came from art class and its reflected on how well you did or how good was your art department. They probably had the best art teachers in the 70s.

I remember walking to parsons jhs high-school in the early 90s seeing a trailer bin of graffiti. One noticeably one was this face that was bean shape with a smile on it and attached was the tag gas.

The best graffiti wtiters are the ones who were really good in art class. Some did not even go to art class.

Oh yeah I Left a comment a while back on millions of people having the same tag. I mentioned I used have a tag Seo then one of your subscribers starts schooling me on that tag being retired. I mean give me a break. Thats like saying what is your name joe smith, my name is joe smith.

I had a can of clogged silver polish to polish this silverware out in the ps 165 school yard. Next thing you know this guy comes by and next I get approached by this lady school bus driver. Im pretty sure it was a case of reverse racism due that guy that walking passed me assuming I was writing in which I wasn't.
